Three years ago, on 16 January 2020, I registered Tarr Law as a business name, taking the first step to starting my own law firm.

According to Forbes Advisor Article “Small Business Statistics Of 2023”, 20% of businesses fail in the first year, 30% in the second year and 50% by year five. In terms of failure rates by industry, the professional, scientific and technical services industry has the highest rate at 19.4% in the first year. And yet here we are, after 3 years of trading, going strong and getting stronger! You can be sure that Tarr Law will be one of the ones standing at year 5, and well beyond.
