Hayley Tarr is a patent and trade marks attorney, solicitor, and nationally accredited mediator. She holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in genetics, a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours, and a Masters of Industrial Property Law — a combination of scientific and legal expertise that gives her a rare depth of analytical capability across complex IP matters.
Hayley has been admitted as an attorney in the State of New York and brings an internationally informed perspective to Australian IP practice. She has been recognised as a finalist for Australian Sole Practitioner of the Year by Lawyers Weekly in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
She has been the member of the Women’s Leadership Committee for the International Trademark Association (INTA), a Queensland Law Society representative on the Attorney General’s Appeal Costs Board, and a mediator under the Queensland Supreme Court Pro Bono Mediation Scheme.
